International Congress on Foetal Medicine, Cairo, Egypt, 2007

Two doctors specialising in foetal medicine in our clinic, Y.Goncharova and A. Solovyov, took part in this congress at which 53 countries were represented, together with many worldwide specialists in the area of ante-natal diagnostics and foetal medicine They were among the doctors, teachers, scientists and other experts invited

The Congress was devoted to all questions of foetal medicine, as an integral part of obstetrics, or perinatology: incorporated diagnostics of the foetal state and calculations of the personal risks of chromosomal anomalies in the foetus on completion of the first trimester; diagnostic and medical interventions in the cavity of the uterus in the first, second and third trimesters; the study of structure of the foetus in the second trimester; to diagnostics of flaws in the development of the foetus; the specificities of medical approaches in different paths in the development of the foetus; methods of intrauterine treatment of the foetus. In the Congress, the scientific work of А.Solovyov “Three-dimensional measurement of the substance of the foetus at the end of the first trimester of pregnancy” was presented.
